Ethyl Vinyl Acetate (EVA)s a closed-cell, cross-linked and non-cross-linked foam derived from ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers. Available in various densities and firmnesses, EVA foam can be produced in block or extruded form.
EVA is known for its excellent thermal insulation, shock absorption capabilities, and protection from chemical and fuel-based compounds. Its closed-cell structure is impermeable to water, and its versatility makes it a great substitute for many materials, such as felt, neoprene, rubber, polyurethane foam, PVC foam, wood composites, mineral wool, and fiberglass.
This foam can be used for variety of purpose including the following:
Marine: Deck Tread, Life Jackets, Life Buoys, Fenders, Oil Boom Floats, Cockpit Cushions.
Electronics: Work Station Mats, Shock Absorbing Pads
EVA75 (75 is an indicator of the density of the foam) is available in sheet sizes of 2000 x 1000mm, is a closed cell foam which comes in the colour grey, in various thicknesses.
